I earned my Masters of Arts in Education from Hamline University in St Paul, MN in 2009 and my Bachelor of Science in Elementary/Middle Level Education from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2004. 

I taught elementary school for 8 years and now I'm working full time on my picture books.  

I enjoy practicing yoga, taking pictures, hosting game nights, exploring new places with my family, and reading and writing picture books, of course! 

I'm from La Crosse, WI and I currently live in Glen Ellyn, Illinois with my #1 fans...my husband, 3 daughters, and 4-legged friends, Mocha & Vanilla.
